FY15 will bring greater growth opportunities: TCS

The largest software services exporter of the nation, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), stated that it remains assertive of FY’15 fetching more profound growth opportunities on the back of an enhanced and secure economic climate of the country on domestic and overseas front.
At TCS??19th Annual General Meeting, Chairman Cyrus Mistry told the shareholders, ??CS delivered a growth of 16% in dollar terms and 30% in rupee terms in FY14 while the industry grew by 8.8% in the same period. As the revitalization of the global economy continued this year, TCS remains confident that this fiscal will bring greater growth opportunities.??br>He further added that the new service lines are developing with rapidity and the consulting services and digital and engineering services are displaying a grip.  TCS is functioning on projects related to e-governance so as to contain corruption. Mistry stated, ??CS is involved in a number of e-governance projects in India and abroad. They can help curb corruption.??br>Mistry also said that the city-headquartered firm will execute the establishment of new research and development (R&D) centers as per the business requirements. Mobility, big data, social media, robotics and cloud computing- all these new technology-driving factors are set to bring global transformation. He stated, ??he ongoing investment of the company in these recent trends will enable us to play an impactful role in the technology revolution.??br>He asserted that TCS considers nations like Middle East, Latin America and Asia-Pacific region as the potential growth markets. In regard to the inorganic growth potential of TCS, Mistry acknowledged that the acquisitions will depend on autonomous needs in new regions. Alti SA acquisition will help the organization to extend its operations in France in an important way.
